The past month was quite a stressful one for me and my household. I had to be away for 4 Saturdays to attend a continuing education seminar. Shouldn't be a problem, right? Except that I still breastfeed my 21-month old boy and he has yet to sleep without the boob. My husband wanted me to delay attending the seminar. He said I can always pay the fine and catch up on the units once the little boy's bigger. Initially that was fine with me. But I got scared of the thought that I will get a warning letter and that I will not be able to sign documents when the need arises in the future. Going for the straight 4-day seminar was definitely not an option. I would have loved to take it together with Tatay but it would have been torture for the little boy to go on 4 days without the boobie.
